Our International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS-IEM) is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program offered by the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics and the University of Freiburg.

Students in the program contribute to world-leading research in areas such as molecular and cellular biology, epigenetics and metabolism. The program is the successor program of the IMPRS-MCB program that supported more than 120 students through their doctoral studies.
